In the 2025–26 season, the Quartet launched The Schubert Project—a deep exploration of Franz Schubert’s final chamber masterpieces, including his late string quartets and the monumental Cello Quintet. For performances of the Quintet, the ensemble was joined by an exceptional roster of guest cellists: Jay Campbell (The Crypt Sessions, NYC), Raman Ramakrishnan (DACAMERA of Houston), and Paul Watkins (Harvard and Yale Universities).

Following the success of their acclaimed 19-episode series Beethoven: Illuminated, the Quartet accompanied this project with a new four-episode series, Schubert: Illuminated, which dissects Schubert’s final four quartets.
